Self-taught in the art field, JEB has always painted, either by oil or by acrylic. At fifteen, he only swore by Modigliani. However, he chose literary studies and for long, his life summed up in going all around the earth , with rather short or long stops. As a journalist, he roamed all continents but he lovingly stopped in Africa where, even in Paris or elsewhere, he keeps walking and finding joy in painting.

His characters, his battered heads must only be the very imperfect reflect of souls he thought to meet during his travels.
