Delivery costs, shipping and returns

Delivery costs

The delivery costs are established according to the country of destination and to the weight and dimensions of the artworks.

In case of an order towards a country other than metropolitan France, you are considered as the importer of the artworks. For all artworks shipped outside of the European Union and the French Overseas Territories, import duty may apply, or any other kind of local or state tax on importation. These duties and amounts are not the responsibility of artupdeco.com. They will be at your expense and are entirely your responsibility, both in terms of statements and payments to the authorities of your country.

Shipping

The delivery will be carried out, during the business hours, with the address of delivery which you will have indicated on your purchase order, within 15 days on average following the date of confirmation of your order.

The transfer of the risks concerning the artworks purchased by you is effective when they are handed over to the carrier by artupdeco.com. We reserve the right to choose the carrier, who will ship the goods to the address to the address you specified on the order form, not liable for any change in your address in the meantime. Any risk shall be your responsibility starting from the date on which the ordered goods leave our premises. We shall be at your disposal, once the order is validated, to inform you more precisely on the status of your order.

Emission of reserves at the time of the reception of the artworks

It is your responsibility, in the event of breach of liability or damage :

It is up to you, in case of negligence or damage, to emit precise and detailed notes to the carrier, by writing the mention" SR " (Under Reserve) on the shipping note, to benefit from the contracted insurance;

To tell Art Up Déco® about these reserves within 24h (working days only) by phone or by e-mail.

Retours

In the hypothesis of the shipped artworks presenting one or various hidden defects, you shall send them back to us as counter-refunding, in their original package and within 7 days starting from the delivery date. Art Up Déco® SAS commits to repairing the artwork or reimburse you within 15 days starting from the reception of the artwork by us. The choice of modality is reserved to Art Up Déco® SAS.
