Delphine Lepoutre

A universal love with exotic reflections.

Born on September 11, 1965 in Lille, it is nevertheless under the sun of Aix-en-Provence that Delphine Lepoutre resides today. Studious pupil, fascinated by foreign cultures and living languages, it is quite natural that she decided to undertake studies in international trade. Ambitious and determined, but also a loving mother, she gave up a few years later, her career to devote herself to her four children. Over time, the old Provençal farmhouse in which she has merged a family, has become a real decorating store, and especially the story of life punctuated by travels and discoveries.

The two themes that she addresses in her sculptures perfectly reflect this universal duality that characterizes her so well; That of a mother, of her responsibility and the love she gives, but also that of a woman, citizen of the world and adventuress thirsty for culture. Her slender works are timeless because they combine tradition with a resolutely modern sensuality. By combining the strength of the earth with the refinement of the fabric, Delphine recalls with elegance and subtlety what it means to be a woman.
