Who is Oscar ?

Oscar trained as a graphic designer at Saint-Luc in Belgium, and studied design at the fine arts school in St Etienne. The two qualifications have led to two preoccupations.

On the one hand, he has an interest in stroke and line: this is apparent in his perspectives and typographical work, in his drawings of faces and bodies using a method somewhat similar to the treatment of comic strips (he has unlimited admiration for Enki Bilal).

On the other, he has an affection for form: form in certain objects according to the materials from which they are constituted, preferring raw materials such as wood, rock, metal and water, form in the bodies that he disports on canvas.
