Who is Christophe Heymann ?

Christophe Heymann is born in Fort Lamy (Chad) August 4th, 1956. Four years later, facing the first wave of separatist violence, the family returned to France. In the land where he was born, the artist will always keep an insatiable curiosity. This vision of a perfect country prematurely left, unexplored, will remain an inspiration.
Roots uprooted, the child is cradled between East and South of France. Nowhere total stranger, nowhere quite at home, he developed an early taste of the escape. Small, he travels through the comics. Adult, he travels the world, immersed and leaves rich in memories that he paints on the canvas.
From his earliest childhood, the paint is needed to Christophe Heymann as a gift inherited from his father, artist, George Heymann. Inheritance transmitted also to David Heymann, the brother of Christopher, now a painter in Bourgogne.
In 2055, the artist decided to move to Clermont l'Herault. This is now nested between the hills of the Cevennes and the Mediterranean that Christophe Heymann feeds his passion.
