Born in 1967 in Paris, I saw the building, from rue Rambuteau, of the George Pompidou center, and the Beaubourg neighbourhood changed shape. All these pipes, tubes, hodgepodge of constructions, architectural contrasts, definitely gave me a deep interest in urban landscape. It was later on I headed towards applied Arts & ceramic studies, at the Lycée de Sèvres. Then to get specialization, I graduated  as a Plastic artist of architectural environment at the ENSAAMA. Then I did a year at evening classes of painting at Paris’ Fine Arts School. Getting out of the school, I worked for architectural firms. For a moment I stopped and I felt like changing air and flying to this soft and green Ireland.  There I came close to my Celtic origins. Huge contrasts of beauty, colors, nature, and above all exceptional lights. It was another time, privileging family, bringing up my three children, taking a break. Today, I paint, wish to share and reconnect with time;  time of childhood, time of learning, discoveries and life towards emotion, so as to find myself back in artistic expression.

Relating abstraction with matter and the figurative art with drawing, I use light contrast. I expect from you to project yourself into my universe, my vision of urbanism. At a street corner, in a dead-end, a passageway , I take a look at street scenes, its material, its lights, its smells and its sounds… “The beauty of things exists in the one watching it.” David Hume.
