Who is David Drioton ?
Loving Freedom, Drioton David left home very young to Orange in the south of France, to follow learning in cook. He paints already and, as in painting, in cooking, he revels mixtures of color, flavor and countless opportunities to create.
This path, however, is not entirely his own and he soon turns to other experiences. During his time in Paris, David follows the Martenot teachings for two years, where he learned the basic techniques, different media, the art of relief and the gesture. Student applied, he painted still lifes, portraits, and nudes. His preference for oil asserts it self as the artist progresses.
1997, he moved to the country, a hundred kilometers from Paris, where he continues to work every day. This return to rural life after 10 years in Paris opens the doors of a new world.
He discovered the gardens and landscape, where he creates paintings with dense vegetation and ever-changing colors. He opens to this new passion that grows along with painting. His meeting with Nadine Foster will help to refine his technique, but above all, the famous artist will teach him to live his painting, with a psychological approach to portraits.
