Who is Carole Leprince?

Although born in Paris in 1966, Carole Leprince is from Brittany and began to paint in 1992. In 1995 she started taking courses at the Ateliers des Beaux Arts in Clichy where she learnt the rudiments of drawing. She studied until 2002, at which time she decided to take the plunge and start to earn a living as an artist. In 2002 she exhibited for the first time at Paimpol in Brittany and at the Marché de la Création in Paris; in 2005 she took part in the Voeux d'Artistes collective exhibition in Paris.
