Bénédicte Caillat

I started watercolor painting at the age of nine, and have not stopped painting since. After studying art history and then art, I moved to London where I worked in various industries, including publishing, and art galleries. I developed my profession of illustrator, and have been represented for several years by a British agency.

Then I decided to devote myself full time to my passion : painting. Abstract art has always fascinated me, and after years of maturation I threw myself into it I developed a work on paper with watercolor, pastel, pencil and gold leaf, and began the next phase of developing this canvas work in large format. I wish to complete this work, and express what I have matured for years. I hope you find in my work something to inspire you !
